PROS FOR THE FOLLOWING: A written diary

- you can always read it or give it to your child in the future.

- put it in your time capsule if you are meaning to make one.

-have a collection of diaries.

-publish it. (if you like)

- Keep it forever because hey! it might be a family heirloom in your famuly and you don't know if the computer is gonna last on the future or worse this website unless u would print out your diary and put it in a special folder.

- It improves your handwriting. (believe me it works!)

CONS FOR THE FOLLOWING: A written journal

- god forbid if a flood is your area and your diaries get wet or if you accidently get it wet like for example throwing it in the toilet of couse by accident

- You eventually use all the paper in your book you got so close to with your deep, dark secrets that you have to buy another one which costs money (dont i sound cheap?) and you don't really get use to the new one after a while.

- Having your parents and siblings looking through to see if you have a sex life or not.

- paper from a written journal can be ripped.

PROS FOR THE FOLLOWING: an online journal

- Will keep it away from your siblings.

- everybody can read your journal and not make fun of you and would probably have the same experiences and interests. A great way to make new friends around the world.

- Typing is more easier than writing. It will save you time.

CONS FOR THE FOLLOWING: An online journal

- You will not be able to view your diaries when you get older because there is a 50 50 chance this website will not be here or if computers are going to be the thing of the past in the future.

- People can read your diaries and stalk you about it ( Gosh, don't you have enough problems in your life that you have to deal with? And isn't a diary supposed to be pirvate unless you make it but you never know someone can hack it.

- You can't put this in a capsule if you were thinking about it, tho you can put your computer in it and leave the people who find it and put all the wires into it.

SIMILARITES FOR THE FOLLOWING: online journal and a written journal

- You both tell them your feelings that you haven't told anyone else.

-It's fun!
